What are Seven Oceans Emergency Food Ration Biscuits?

The Seven Oceans 500g Emergency Food Rations are designed to provide a balanced diet for survival at sea for use onboard life rafts and lifeboats. The bars are packed under vacuum in air and watertight alu-foil. This unit is also protected by a water-repellent cardboard box. Their lightweight design, and protective packaging makes this an ideal emergency food source for survival at sea, camping, hiking and other outdoor activities where access to food can be limited.

Each vacuum-packed pack of 500g provides approx 10,100 kJ or 2,400 kcal of energy and contains the highest possible ratio of balanced nutrition compared to volume. The pack is subdivided for easy rationing, each pack of biscuits contains 18 tablets packed in 9 bars with grease-proof paper. Each bar ration weighs approximately 56g.

In survival situations, one 500g pack provides enough nutrition to last one person 72 hours.

Shelf life: Our current stock best before dates will range from 2.5 years - 4.5 years.
Due to this, smaller orders will receive shelf life of approx 2.5 years.
Where as larger orders (12-24 packs) we will provide the longer shelf life packs, which will have approx 4.5 years.
